How the Process Works

The evaluation typically takes 60 to 90 minutes.
Based on the evaluation results, you will be enrolled in the recommended program: 12-hour alcohol education, 16-hour early intervention, or 26-hour substance use treatment. Each program combines education, group discussion, and skill-building in a structured curriculum led by licensed facilitators. Sessions are available virtually and in person, in English and Spanish.
Throughout the program, we track your attendance, participation, and progress. Upon completion, you receive an official completion certificate, and we provide all documentation — enrollment verification, progress reports, and completion certificates — directly to your court, probation officer, attorney, or the MVA at no additional cost.
How Long Does It Take?
The duration depends on which program level your evaluation recommends. The 12-hour program typically takes 6 to 12 weeks, the 16-hour program takes 8 to 16 weeks, and the 26-hour program takes 12 to 24 weeks to complete.

Who Accepts It?
Our DUI/DWI programs are accepted by Maryland district and circuit courts, the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA), probation offices, parole offices, pre-trial services, diversion programs, and attorneys throughout the state. Our programs meet all Maryland state requirements for DUI/DWI education and treatment.

What Happens After Your Appointment?
After you complete your DUI/DWI program, you receive an official completion certificate. If the program was required by a court, probation officer, or the MVA, we send all completion documentation directly to your referring party at no additional cost.
If your evaluation or program identified ongoing needs, we can transition you to individual counseling, group counseling, or an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for continued support. Many clients choose to continue with counseling to maintain positive changes and reduce the risk of future offenses.
For MVA license reinstatement, we provide the completion certificates you need to submit to the MVA. We also provide ongoing progress reports for probation officers throughout your program to help you stay in compliance with your conditions.
